We will open with a soothing yoga flow and a guided relaxation. Then we will spend time in creative arts exploration with mixed media, fiber, and collage. Enjoy a healthy vegetarian lunch, and post lunch meditation and walk. Quiet journaling time will follow, with another art project in the afternoon. We will close with guided meditation and relaxation. Your body and soul will leave the day feeling invigorated, nourished, and inspired to weave art and mindfulness into your daily lives.
I am available to teach the following classes. Contact me to schedule you special class and to stay informed of upcoming classes and workshops coming this spring and summer to Brownsville, VT!
Art Of Papermaking
Learn the art of papermaking. We will explore the creative process as we learn the fundamentals of hand papermaking. You will make basic sheets using dried botanicals, found, and gathered materials. You will also make a one of a kind art hanging, with both processed pulps, and pulp made from plant materials found in the garden. This will be a fun exploration, prepare to make a mess, and get creative!
Learn a bit of knotting history and basic knots to take home a simple wall hanging or plant hanger!
Creativity and Mindfulness
Connect and find your creative self through simple art projects and mindfulness practices. How can you live a more creative life? Contrary to popular belief, being creative isn’t something you were either born with or without- it is something you can cultivate and grow within yourself! Let’s explore a variety of media, paper, paint, collage, and fiber, to learn about our expressive self, and then ground that expressive nature with simple daily mindfulness techniques!
