Words of Praise “I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed last night’s class. It had been a stress day at work- the energy you emanated - even thru the screen- was so positive and healthy it turned my energy around. I woke with a new outlook and resolve about work and life in general. Thank you!” — Brenna Corrignan “I have found Angie’s classes to be a source of comfort during these stressful times. Her cues, reminders, and lovingly offered poems & quotes help keep my mind and body at peace.” — Charleigh Robillard Soul Purpose Sessions… “I reached out to Angie because I felt a loss of creative motivation and focus related to Covid lockdown and the pervasive negative energy into which we emerged. Angie helped me to clarify and engage with my purpose and strength and to open my heart again to the serendipitous world.” — Jane Whittington Classes “I have been attending Angie’s online classes regularly and, while not as personally interactive as in her studio, they allow me to experience her classes within the comfort of my home. Angie’s classes are infused with her kind and gentle spirit, always thoughtfully organized around a theme bringing a deeper meaning to yoga practice. She offers mindful vinyasa with appropriate alternative poses based on physical limitations, as well as options for more advanced practitioners. With the video turned off for privacy I am able to practice comfortably and then during Savasana Josh’s guitar accompaniment adds a soothing touch for relaxation. These classes have provided me with regular connection, eased my anxiety surrounding isolation, improved my sleep and helped me stay strong and flexible. They are an antidote for all the challenges we face during.” — Barbara Abraham, Yoga student and YTT student “I have been practicing yoga with Angie for several years now and really enjoy her teaching methods. It is a nice mix of all aspects of yoga from breathing and chanting to physical fitness. She challenges those looking for a little extra and allows those who want to take it easy to go easy. She is my favorite instructor by far!” — Cathy Parks, Yoga Student “Angie is a wonderful teacher, always ready with words of encouragement and coaching.” — Bruce Paulson, Yoga Student Yoga Teacher Training “This was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself and would encourage others who love yoga to go through Angie’s program.” — Paige Jarvis MYTT 200 & 300 Graduate “The 200 HR yoga teacher trainingchanged my life in so many positive ways. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Angie does a beautiful job of demonstrating compassion to each student offering them support and space to develop individuality and challenging each student to bring forth his/her greatness. It was a magical time of transformation and bonding with the other students in the class. I can’t imagine what my life would look like had I not taken the training by giving into my fear.Angie, thank you for changing the world to become a better place through your teachings.” — Sandy Gassett, 200 HR YTT student “There are so many things that I learned at Myriad Yoga Teacher Training with Angie that it’s hard to choose the one most important aspect. I learned so much philosophy, history, anatomy and physical practice. I found a community which has been so valuable to me. Perhaps one of my most important lessons was to feel confident in my teaching and to find something I truly love and want to do.” — Alexandra Hanly, MYTT 200 Graduate “Angie is competent and clear in all aspects of her teaching. Her loving kindness and patience was extraordinary. She empowered me to do my best and I feel confident in my ability to teach Yoga” — Lori Fletcher, MYTT 200 Graduate “Angie Follensbee-Hall is an amazing teacher. She leads gracefully by example and with very generous and open-hearted sharing of her life and her practice.” — Jennifer Armstrong, MYTT 300 Graduate “Angie’s generous heart & bright soul made the long hours of training and study easy. Never did she tell anyone their thoughts or methods were bad or wrong, everyone is allowed to be themselves, to change their path as they go, to dive into whatever interested them most. Yet as I mentioned above, all aspects of the training were offered in an even handed method, so you did not miss out on an opportunity. It has been a delight to spend several years under her wing, learning and growing.” — Charleigh Robillard, 200 & 300 MYTT Graduate “Myriad Yoga Teacher Training is a wonderful, life-changing experience. The 200-hour program provides a solid foundation to start a yoga teaching career and the 300-hour program builds, strengthens, and expands the individual teacher into their own potential. I am so grateful that I am a graduate of both! Angie is a wonderful, caring teacher. I love being in her presence and all that she represents. I would encourage others strongly to study with Angie!” — Ruth Ticknor, MYTT 200 & 300 Graduate About online classes “I’ve always been grateful for having discovered Angie’s Yoga classes at Jai Studio in Brownsville. It’s such a rejuvenating mind, body and energy reset to start the week. I’m incredibly thankful that Angie has decided to continue these classes online. I can’t say that I like online classes better than in person, but they are almost as good with the added convenience of not having to leave the house. The online Yoga classes have good video and sound quality; I know this is a testament to how hard Angie and Josh have worked to make this a quality experience. I’ve attended other online fitness classes of late where the quality was not quite as good. Not only do these classes provide a connection to other people, but they provide some much needed structure within the week. Online Yoga is great opportunity to try something new for those who may be self-conscious. My mom, who has never tried Yoga before this, has joined me on occasion from the comfort of our living room.” — Jennifer Snide, Yoga Student
