Embodied Yogic Wisdom

A five part yoga workshop series covering the functional body systems of your Digestion and Gut, Respiration and Breath, Movement and Psoas, Alignment and Fascia, and Relaxation and Vagus Nerve through the lens of yoga philosophy and the Eight Limbs (Ashtanga).

This is a workshop for:

  • the yoga practitioner and student who desires to learn much more about yoga, the body, and yoga philosophy

  • the yoga teacher who wants to deepen their knowledge and practice so that they can more clearly communicate this information to their students in both class and workshop settings. CEU credits are available through Yoga Alliance.

By the end of this five class series, you will master simple practices to innervate and build awareness of these essential body systems to improve and integrate daily wellbeing and health within the context of the spiritual and philosophical applications of yoga.

You will practice techniques to improve your basic breathing processes, facilitate digestion and practice mindful eating, and soothe your nervous system through fascial release and gentle massage for greater range of motion. This series will help you to discover more freedom, strength, perception, and awareness in your yoga practice and your daily life.

You will also begin to differentiate between feeling, sensing, and perception, as you learn how to master the thoughts and reactions that arise in your body, breath, and mind. These practices will help you to clarify, define, and clearly articulate your personal experience of being in your body to live more optimally.

This class will be offered both online and in-person, as you prefer.

PDF downloads of all class materials will be provided, as well as video replays for personal download or later viewing.

Yoga Teachers—CEU credits available through Yoga Alliance. Certificate provided.
